About the data

Every figure on this site is counted from the record rather than typed into a page. This is the record: what is in it, who it came from, and the date somebody last opened the source. Nothing here has been checked more recently than 14 September 2026.

What is on this site

  • Roles

    5 mapped of 14

The fourteen roles come from the county's Green Skills Strategy and the green skills conference guide, cross-referenced to the HolonIQ green skills taxonomy (holoniqRef). Pay ranges are the published national ranges for the occupation. Entry requirements on a ladder rung carry their own entrySource.

    Last checked

  • Pathways

    4, holding 19 steps

Each pathway is written over the role's own ladder in roles.json. The steps are that ladder read as a journey: nothing here restates a course, a level's entry requirement or a provider, because all three already live in courses.json, in the rung and in providers.json. Step copy was written against the actual courses on each rung and checked back against them.

    Last checked

  • Courses

    22 verified

Each course was opened on the provider's own site and read there. Nothing is taken from an aggregator, a course finder or a search result.

    Last checked

  • Providers

    32, at 13 campuses

Each Faculty provider's own website: campus pages for districts and travel, contact pages for enquiries and phone. Bus routes are only recorded where the provider or the operator publishes them, and each one carries its busRouteSource. The wider list of Gloucestershire organisations, and the category, funding model, green sectors and offer summary on each, come from glos_green_skills_providers.csv in the repo root. UKPRNs are looked up per provider in the DfE apprenticeship provider and assessment register or the UK Register of Learning Providers, and each one records which, in ukprnSource; a provider in neither register carries null rather than a guess.

  • Personas

    4

The four audiences named in the Faculty Board brief for this prototype. Not research: this is who the demo is being shown to and who each surface is written for.

  • Media

    0 of 4 slots filled

Nothing yet. Media is supplied by hand and dropped into public/media. This file is the record of what has actually arrived, and every field in it is null until a file exists on disk.

How much of the county it covers

The site describes 14 roles across 6 areas of work. Each role has a ladder of levels, and every level is in one of three states. The three are drawn differently as well as coloured differently, so the distinction survives greyscale and does not depend on seeing colour at all.

  • 20 Mapped A level of a role with at least one real course behind it, opened and read on the provider’s own site.
  • 7 A gap Somebody looked for provision at this level and there is none in the county. A finding, not a blank.
  • 57 Not looked at Nobody has researched this level yet. It is not a claim that there is nothing there.

That is 84 levels in all. The full grid, role by role and level by level, is on the coverage page.

What this site does not claim

  • It is not a complete list of training in Gloucestershire. There are 32 organisations on record and 4 of them currently have a course here. The rest are known about, not yet read.
  • The areas of work are a working set, not a decision. There are 6 of them, 1 built to full depth. They group every researched role into exactly one place, which is useful; they are not boundaries the 7 partner organisations have agreed.
  • No pay figure here carries a source. The roles hold salary ranges, and they are not shown on the pages that summarise a role, because the record does not say who published them or when. A number without a source is a number that cannot be checked.
  • An empty slot is never dressed up as content. Where a photograph, a video or a case study has not been supplied, the page renders as though the slot never existed rather than showing an empty player or an apology.

How much of the brief has been built, requirement by requirement, is tracked on the progress page.
